Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out how the ScoreBoost Pro platform may and may not be used. It applies to every agency, staff user, and anyone who accesses the platform. It supplements our Terms of Service; where the two overlap, the Terms of Service control.
Last updated July 14, 2026
This policy describes rules of use and is provided for clarity. It is not legal advice. Each agency remains responsible for its own compliance with the laws that apply to it.
1. General prohibited conduct
When using the platform, you will not:
- Misuse the Services, or access data that does not belong to you.
- Attempt to defeat, probe, or circumvent security controls or the platform's tenant isolation.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the platform or its software.
- Upload malware, or interfere with or overload the platform's infrastructure.
- Use the Services to commit fraud or to violate any consumer-protection law.
- Infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.
2. Data & consent
The platform processes sensitive personal and financial information, including credit reports and Social Security Numbers. If you upload data about your clients, you are responsible for having the right to do so.
- Only upload client data you are authorized to process and have obtained the necessary consents for.
- Use client data solely to deliver services to that client — not for unrelated purposes.
- Never attempt to access another agency's tenant, data, or clients.
- Promptly report any suspected security incident or unauthorized access to us.
3. Messaging & outreach
The platform's email and SMS tools are for communicating with your own clients and contacts who have agreed to hear from you. They are not for cold outreach.
- Obtain the consent required by the Telemarketing Sales Rule and the TCPA before sending SMS or marketing messages.
- Honor unsubscribe and STOP requests promptly; do not attempt to defeat opt-out handling.
- Do not send to purchased, scraped, or non-consented lists.
- Do not send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or misleading messages.
4. Credit-repair conduct (agencies)
If you use the platform to provide credit-repair services, you are the credit-repair organization and must follow the laws that govern that work — including CROA, the FCRA, GLBA, and your state's credit-services statutes.
- Do not charge or collect fees before services are fully performed where the law (e.g. CROA §1679b(b)) prohibits it.
- Do not guarantee a specific credit-score increase or that any item will be removed.
- Do not make, or advise a consumer to make, any false or misleading statement to a credit bureau or creditor.
- Provide your clients the contracts, disclosures, and cancellation rights the law requires.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this policy or the law. Where we can, we'll give notice — but we may act immediately to protect the platform, its users, or the public.
6. Reporting abuse
To report a violation of this policy, email hello@scoreboost.pro.
